I had these two photos of my husband and the girls and Jeff and Gavin - and the above sketch worked wonderfully that I was able to put both photos on one page.
The papers I have used are from Stampin Up - but are unfortunately retired - it is a real shame as they work so well when you need a bit of a masculine edge to your layouts. Saturday, June 29, 2013

FAMILY TIME
I love the sketch at Scrapmuch
The whole doily thing worked so well with my photos as well - on the back of the couch we are sitting on it has square doily's and I found some square doily's in my stash - so it all co-ordinated really well.
I have taken it and turned it around a bit
HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY
I am busy scrapping my daughter album for her 21st Birthday and working through her birthday photo and for some reason I can only find one photo from her 4th birthday - and this photo has had a hard life - it has been chewed on as one corner of the photo has lots of teeth marks in it and it is a bit mangled - but I have use it
The sketch at My scraps & More Sketches is just the sketch I need for it:
The sketch at My scraps & More Sketches is just the sketch I need for it:
and here is my one and only photo
I am sure some more photos will turn up one day - but at least I have this one - really pleased with the results
CHILLIN' & RELAXING
I love the sketch over at Scrappin Patch -
This is my husband "relaxing" in his hammock but in 1982. It was a fun layout to do.
It was a great way to use up some of the "I will just keep this bit as I might need it" pieces that go around and around your craft desk

THE TWINS
Sketch #32 over at My Scraps & More Sketches
I had these photos of my daughter Monique
having her photo taken with the Ever-Swindell twins - all very exciting when you are 12 years old and they are so famous. They are lovely girls and so happy to pose with the kids for photos and signing of their rowing caps - a real treasure.
JEFF'S 21ST
For the sketch #34 over at My Scraps & More Sketches
I have chosen to use one photo
and love the result.
THE FRONT ROW
The mid month sketch at Stuck Sketches
was versatile for me to turn around and use with
this photo of my Husband playing a very wet and muddy game of rugby.
The papers used are from the new Stampin Up Catalogue - Soho subway - it is a wonderful paper - due for release 1st July 2013
YES YOU CAN DO IT!
Over at Just-add-ink the scrapbooking challenge for June is:
to Just Add Milestones in your Scrapbooking Layouts.
So what is a Milestone? Here is what the dictionary says about it.
n.
An important event, as in a person's career, the history of a nation,
or the advancement of knowledge in a field; a turning point.
This photo is of my now husband on a motor bike for the first time and me on the back giving orders!
We were up in Cambridge visiting my cousin and needed to go up to check on the sheep - Jeff had not really spent much time on farms (he was a really townie) and certainly never been on a motorbike. Good thing we never fell off!
The layout is a taken from a wonderful class I did with Nic Howard at Autumn Escape.
THE BOYS
Week 2 sketch at Scrap much
This photo of my Husband and three of his mates at Marks wedding - we have this photo taken at a couple of the guys weddings. I was given the back ground paper (shirts) and when I got it thought mmm interesting paper not sure when I will use this - but it worked really well on this page.
FUN ON THE LUGE!
The June colour challenge over at Scrap much has gone around and around my desk this month
until I came across this photo of my daughter Monique - having fun on the Luge in Rotorua
When I saw the colours - I loved them and they are colours I love to scrap with - but every photo I was scrapping at the time just didn't work. But the colour of Monique's shorts worked well to pull the colours together. I had lots of fun playing with paint for the back ground and a bit of washi tape finished the deal.
TASTING TIME
The week 1 sketch at Lets Get Sketchy
worked well with these photos I have of just with friends out wine and beer tasting North of Auckland
It was a great day out and enjoyed some lovely wines and beers.

SYDNEY HARBOUR CRUISE
With the great combination of the sketch at Stuck Sketches
and the awesome Simple Stories 24/7 collection I am really happy with the results of this layout
This photo was taken in November 2004 when we in Sydney with "BFF" - Murray and Sandra
BACKYARD FUN
Yeah another multi photo lay over at Inspired Blueprints - Sketch #97
Even tho I have used the same photo twice - the smaller photo is a cropped version of the main photo - I do like to do this so that you get to see a close up of the main photo - especially when working with older photos.
I also turned this sketch around - this is a photo of my husband Jeff and his older sister Raewyn playing in there back yard.
BROTHERS!
The simplicity of the Inspired blue prints sketch #96
worked well with this photo of my husband and his two brothers
Even tho they are his half brothers - Jeff and Robert are so much alike - the genes on his Mum's side are very very strong!
ALL TOGETHER
I love multi photo layouts - so when I saw this one at Memorable Seasons I knew it was a must do sketch
I really like this sketch and will most certainly do it again
This photo is of my husband (Jeff) and his two "big" sisters - it is really funny to see them all sitting up on the dinning room table - coz that is what I used to do my our children too! Some things never change.OH SO HUGABLE
I keep looking at this very cute button from Purple Pumpkin Crafts
and wanting to use it - when check out their June Sketch challenge I knew just what I wanted to do:

And here is how it turned out:

SWIM TIME
Love this sketch over at My scraps & more sketches - sketch #31
and I had lots of fun putting it together:
Aren't they so cute - this is Jeff and Lindy with their Mum - Marie chilling in the pool.
PLAYING IN THE BACK YARD
I am really enjoying scrapping these old photos of my husband -
This is Jeff sitting in the backyard of their house in Wainuiomata with his sisters playing in the back ground.
Sketch # 30
over at My Scraps & More Sketches is great and a fun sketch to do
