WHICH HAT?

As everyone was getting ready for their walk Ian (Cameron's Dad) tried out all his hats to see which one he would wear to start with....

I used the lovely sketch over at My scraps & more - sketches #53

for these photos.... in this photo he has his "Christmas Hat" on.... it is a polar fleece type hat with a holly design on the top of it.... apparently it had a pom pom on it as well, but that has fallen off.  He thought it was made as a school project by one of his boys.

He opted for the cap....

OFF THEY GO!

The next photos I scrapped are of all off them off and walking into the wilderness...

I used the sketch from Stuck sketches

I liked this sketch.... as it meant I was able to use these two photos of them walking away from me..

I have used the Simple Stories range of papers for this layout and I have also used a map of the area as well.

TONGARIRO CROSSING

Yea!!!  finally I have been able to get back into some scrapbooking....Jeff (my hubby) and eldest daughter Kylie and friend Sean took on the Tongariro Alpine Crossing on Saturday and won!

Up very bright and early I had them at the start point, off and walking by 7am.... 9 hours later I collected some very tired and sore bodies at the other end....

Was it worth it..... OH YES!!!! was the answer..... so the next few layouts will all be about their adventure.

I took some photos at the start and then went and had them printed off that morning and relaxed at the house we rented and scrapped them....

The first of my layouts I used this great sketch from Inspired blue prints #109

I turned the sketch around and used a combination of three photos... As you can see it was a stunning day....
getting ready and by the start point.

FAVOURITE JOYFUL CHRISTMAS

This card is my favourite one using the Joyful Christmas

I love the vibrantness of the embossed red on the black....

I hope you are a having fun doing your Christmas cards.

SNOWMAN SAM....

For my November card class ..... I asked the ladies what they would like... we were doing Christmas Cards
1.  A Red Robin  (that was for the English ladies)
2.  A Snowman
3.  Something different

so here is Snowman Sam

he is a punch art Snowman.... I have seen a couple of different takes on this... but this is my one.

He was a real hit with everyone.... some aren't even going to send he off... they are keeping this card for themselves.

I must admit he is cute and was fun to put together.

JOYFUL CHISTMAS

My favourite stamp set for this Christmas as to be Stampin' Up Joyful Christmas from the current Holiday Catalogue.......

I have really busy creating with this set.....
Here are some of cards I have made with it....

Most of them have been embossed, with lots of fussy cutting to do the double layering.

Some of these have been "cased" and some are original.

I ALWAYS SAID..............

That if and when I started my blog ......  I would never leave it to long between post.... oops "major fail!"

I really don't know where the last month has gone .... but I am back

So what have I been doing for the last month... Christmas stuff!

Last weekend I held a "stamp-a-stack" for 7 lovely ladies .... they all got to make 20 Christmas Cards (4 designs - 5 of each).... so they are all ready to send out their Christmas Cards

These are the cards they made.... the favourite of the day was the two blue ones..... but they enjoyed them all.

They are all made with Stampin' Up products (especially as I am a Stampin' Up demonstrator)
