FUN!

The sketch at Sketch n scrap #52 really appealed to me:

 

I loved the two tone back ground idea and then the next challenge was photos for it... I have done it with one large photo and love the result

 This is our daughter Kylie paddling around in Doubtful Sounds in the South Island.  

I have used Stampin Up DSP for this and only used two sheets of paper... as I used the reverse side as well.

AREN'T WE CLEVER

I love this sketch over at Lets get sketchy blog - week 1

 

and had fun putting this layout together

 

and I am so pleased with how it came together... This is my daughter Kylie and her partner Cameron (in the middle) kayaking around Doubtful sounds...When the guide asked the back person of each kayak to stand up the other thought it was impossible.... Kylie had no trouble as she has rowed for 10 years and so is used to doing this type of thing.... and normally did it in a single boat.

I have used the lovely Stamping up Winter Frost DSP.

CHRISTMAS LUNCH

I love Christmas time and lunch is a very important part of the day... I have used the great sketch at Scrapmuch blog

 

 

to show off us all enjoying our Christmas lunch....  We always eat too much but still come back for more.. it is all just part of the day and the more people the merrier.  There is always plenty of room at our table for more people.

I have used the lovely Kaisercraft range of papers and accessorised with MME.

MOLLY

14th April 2013.... we welcomed a new baby into our family.... Molly the little ratbag of a kitten!  

 These photos are of her first outdoor adventure.... and yes she managed to escape from her new "mum - Monique"

Then as Gavin's new fashion accessory... a "fun fur collar"!

She has added a lot of entertainment to our household... and Agnes has slowly accepted her

This next layout fits 3 challenges.... a colour Scrap much colour-challenge, a summer challenge over at Artfullcrafts and finally a sketch challenge at lets get sketchy

This photo was taken when my daughter and her partner - Cameron were kayaking around Doubtful Sounds.... they took a dip under a very "fresh" waterfall.

RAINBOW BOYS!

This next layout is another adventure from the mystery bus tour....

I love this sketch from Scrapmuch ... 21.2.14 

 

 

Down on the Auckland Wharf heading to the Cloud we found this "rainbow container"... so it was line up time... and after a number of poses.... these photos were the results.

These photos have been going to the bottom of the pile a few times as I wasn't sure how I wanted to display them.... this sketch worked really well with them. (Well I think so anyway :) )

I love the candy dots from stampin' up and they were the all the right colours for my rainbow corners, and the chalk board pen works so well on the black cardstock.....

YESSS!

This next layout has photos from challenge #1 on the bus tour for Gavin's 18th birthday.... it was to build a pyramid.... it was so funny to watch a bunch of "nerds" try to do this....

I used the great sketch at Scrap much..

 

Most of the guys are studying engineering at University.... but they had no idea what to do!.... But they made it.... Liam wasn't to keen on putting both hands up tho.

I have had the next couple of layouts finished for a few days ..... but haven't had time to load them up... so here goes

This is a first time entry for Artfull Crafts - Sketch-Challenge...

 

 

I turned the sketch around to suit this photo... and then it all came together really well.

This photo was taken at Gavin's (my son) 18th Birthday party.... as part of the mystery bus tour we went to the Auckland Museum and they had a photo taken on the canon.... they had to hold onto their hats or they blew away!

CHOCOLATE FONDUE

Slowly catching up on some of the many events from 2013.... the next layout... even a double was perfect for these photos....

One this evening, me & the girls and their partners were just relaxing and decided we need "pudding" so Chocolate Fondue it was.... we all had lots of fun....

Exciting.... I have managed to get all the sketches over at My Scraps and More done for this month.... this is my  final one being  My scraps & more sketches #64

This photo is of our son Gavin.... he was choosing his suit for his Year 13 ball and as a joke tried this suit one as part of a competition...

In a funny sort of way it did suit him..... but he looked very dashing in his chosen black 'n white outfit.
